A bassist can never add too much Ray Brown-isms into his playing. Learning verbatim from Ray has added many little “tricks” to my playing and I hope it does to yours as well (not to mention playing along with Jeff Hamilton). The last track, “The Champ”, was my first time transcribing anything even close to such a fast tempo (~340bpm), so forgive me if the accuracy isn’t as stellar as my other works. I hope you enjoy!
