Complete transcriptions of the bass parts for the 7 songs off the 1957 Album led by Paul Chambers. All arco solos, pizz solos, and walking basslines are great teachers for a bassist trying to learn the jazz language.
As with any arco transcription, 100% accuracy is nearly impossible. It’s my hope that you listen and memorize directly from the record as much as possible and use the transcriptions when in a tough spot.
For any interested customers, I also have simple parts written out for the other 3 instruments should a bassist want to perform any of these tracks live in a quartet setting.
